Hair Damage 101: How To Fix Breakage

I don’t know about you, but I love to style my hair with hot tools almost daily in addition to having highlights. So, what does that mean? It means I probably have more breakage than I even realize. While I get my hair cut every 2 months, use top salon recommended products and heat protecting oils… haircare requires more than that. So, let’s not delay this any longer. I’m letting you in on my hair tips.

1. Unless you have unmanageable hair that requires a blow dry, try to always let your hair air dry. I recently tried the most amazing hair wrap and I’m hooked. Rapid Dry Hair Wrap keeps bacteria at bay while our signature AQUITEX™ fabric wicks away moisture to leave hair healthy, frizz-free, and shiny. Tested and true. My hair dried quickly and felt so silky smooth.

2. Use a leave-in hair mask. Why a leave-in and not a quick one? Well, when we do a 5 minute mask it doesn’t really allow the ingredients to properly activate and sink into our hair the way a leave-in mask would. I’m all about products that show results and the K18 molecular mask makes my hair so soft, manageable and fresh.

3. Whenever I can avoid using hair elastics, I almost always do. My PHOM claw clip is probably my favourite hair accessory to wear at home. Comfortable, secure and stylish.
