If you had to pick up to 10 basics what would they be?

A tailored blazer, the perfect white and black cotton tee, a flattering pair of leather or faux leather trousers, white sneakers, a military combat boot, a pant suit that can take you from a day to night, mid-waist navy slim denim, an Equipment shirt or blouse, a midi length black slip dress that can be dressed down or up and lastly, a great accessory like a fur scarf or belt.

What’s on your nightstand?

My favorite Diptique Baies candle, a small jewelry tray that my mother bought me in Palm Beach last year and a short mini vase with fresh cut flowers.

What’s your skin care regime in the morning AND night?

Morning:
I start by washing my face with the SK-II cleanser then apply a Clinique toner. For serums/creams, I use Skinceuticals Phloretin CF and Zo Skin Health AHA. I finish with Coola SPF 30 Primer and if I’m not going to the gym right away, I’ll add a moisturizer before my sunscreen.
Night:
Clinique mild face wash then the Clinique toner. I love my Alpha Beta Dr Dennis Gross Peel on nights that I am not applying my Zo Skin Health Retinol (use Retinol every other night), and finish with a Dr Dennis Gross moisturizer and eye cream. For breakouts I love Blemish & Age by Skinceuticals – it’s life changing.

I see that you workout so consistently. What’s the trick and what’s your schedule?

I used to only practice yoga as a workout but in the last 2 years I’ve become obsessed with high intensity training. I train at Barry’s Bootcamp 3 times a week (full body, butt & legs, arms & abs days) and I spin twice a week to get in that extra cardio.

What’s your interior design style?

I love mixing modern and traditional elements together. And neutral tones with pops of color!

What’s a regular night at home look like?

My husband and I love to cook. So we’ll usually make something delicious for dinner and catch up on our tv shows. We’re always on the go so we cherish the quality time when we have it.

Your hair always looks so fresh and nicely styled! What’s the trick?

I visit my hairdresser, Virasack, monthly – whether it’s to get a hair treatment, trim, color or just a fresh blow out. I use a Moroccan Oil hair masque twice a week and before using any heat, I’ll apply an oil and a protective spray both by Moroccan oil.

Where do you buy all your handbags and shoes?

It varies – sometimes I’ll purchase directly from the store but often I’ll get it from Fashion Phile, the Real Real or What Goes Around Comes Around when I’m in NYC. There’s something special about extending the lifecycle of certain luxury items.

Your best beauty or skincare secrets?

I’ve been getting facials for the last 10 years! I used to do them once every season but in the last year I go to Hammam Spa for facials or peels monthly. I also love their body treatments. Ask for Ana F or Natalia and thank me later!
I’ve learnt that with makeup less is more. I don’t wear foundation and my skin looks and feels much better overall. When you take care of it skin deep then you don’t need to wear as much.
I love sheet masques, especially when traveling – I use Dr. Jart+ or Flawless By Friday.
Lemon water every morning. I swear by it!

Do you feel a lot of pressure to dress or be a certain way because of your job or blog?

Never. I dress for myself and my environment for the day – I live very much in the moment and I don’t take myself too seriously!

Favorite places to shop?

Intermix, Zara, Topshop, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Vintage stores in different cities and the list goes on…
