Fall Skincare Favourites

Besides the fact that allergies are at an all time high – we are so excited for the season change. Crisp air, oversized knits, leather pants… It’s the best time of the year (besides Christmas, of course). Now, let’s talk skincare! A few staples in our skincare regime have played a key role in keeping our skin glowy and hydrated until this point. Here’s a breakdown of our favourites for not only Summer into Fall, but all year round.

Kaia Juicy Bamboo Facial cleansing Cloths provide a huge amount of vitamins and keep my skin feeling fresh (love these for before, during or after flights). I’m a huge fan of anything Skinceuticals, currently obsessing over Blemish & Age Defense (I apply this every morning and night to breakout prone areas) and Phloretin CF every morning for my Vitamin C serum. Looking or a light scrub? Try Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, comes in a powder form and with just a splash of water it will turn into a light but buildable face exfoliation. Great for sensitive skin!
If you follow us on Instagram, you know that we’ve been having a love affair with Canadian brand, Céla. The Essential face moisturizer is great for morning and night and extracts of sunflower sprouts and tara tree fruit protect your skin from the aging effects of free radicals generated by exposure to deep-penetrating infrared. Their candles smell heavenly and make for the perfect touch in any bathroom. Moving onto the best sunscreen, Skinceuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense. One of the most important steps in your skincare routine should be SPF – the amount of damage it will protect your skin from is remarkable. This one from Skinceuticals is light, airy and blends beautifully. We also love their A.G.E eye complex cream part of our nightly routine to prevent eyes from dark circles and aging lines.
TIP: once you’ve applied your serums or moisturizers, try using a Jade roller or Guasha to penetrate the product and get the blood flowing.
Last but not least, a few of my favourite scents right now. Calypso St. Barth perfumes in either Casablanca or Mimosa scent and Ouai Mercer Street.
