“What I like personally about this collection is that there is no reference to the 1970s. I think there’s been enough,” quoted by Karl Lagerfeld backstage after his SS2015 collection for Fendi. The Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, in Rome, is now Fendi’s headquarters. “It’s where I have my office,” he continued. “I can’t believe that Fendi was able to get the building. I thought it must be a landmark museum.”
The Fendi collection was inspired by architecture from the Roman headquarters, structure, orchids and beautiful palettes of blues and greys. It’s obvious through the Fendi Spring and Summer 2015 show that fashion has no boundaries. I’m officially feather obsessed!
