New Year means even better skincare!  I know that for me, during winter and travel months, my skin needs more moisturizing and exfoliating products because the combination of travel and cooler temperatures can be drying. There are so many products out there to choose from, so I wanted to share a little guide of my must-haves and products that save my skin! I can’t wait to share with you guys my go-to products that always deliver amazing results. Comment below to let me know how they work for you!

1. Céla Essential Face Moisturizer
Not only is this a Canadian skincare brand, but the products are truly incredible! Filled with natural and nourishing ingredients… You will not be disappointed! I use this moisturizer morning and night (I use more before bed to get in that extra moisture). Infused with  a blend of Canadian botanicals (blueberry, elderberry, evening primrose, juniper berry, rosemary and lavender) with unparalleled bioactive benefits. Extracts of sunflower sprouts and tara tree fruit protect your skin from the aging effects of free radicals – the kind emitted by the smartphones, tablets and computer screens. The Essential Face Moisturiser is formulated with plant-based glycerin, squalane and vitamin E to refresh, soften and soothe even the most sensitive skin.

2. Skinceuticals Phloretin CF
If you’re not already using a Vitamin C serum, you should probably start now. Ever since using Phloretin CF my skin has felt much more balanced, consistent and fresh. Use a small amount every morning after your skin has been cleansed and it’ll provide environment protection and diminish lines and discolouration. This antioxidant is the best thing I’ve added to my morning regime! Tip: always apply an SPF as your skin is most sensitive when using Vitamin serums.

3. Skinceuticals Blemish & Age Defense
I’ve been using Blemish & Age Defense for a few years now and the reason I can control any breakouts coming my way. A little goes a long way  but I love applying it around my chin/mouth area and on my forehead every night and morning. This first-to-market acid blend combines 2% dioic acid with an optimal alpha- and beta-hydroxy acid formulation to reduce the formation of acne and clogged pores, while improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. Eternally grateful for you B&A!

4. Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Peel
No matter what season it is, my Dr Dennis Gross is a non-negotiable part of my beauty routine. The patented two-step formula contains seven acids, is easy and safe to use at home, and does not require any recovery time. Step one is packed with rejuvenating, powerful, yet gentle exfoliating acids. Step two controls the alpha hydroxy acid activity, delivers anti-aging actives, nourishes, and keeps skin balanced, smooth, and radiant.
